Jaguar XJS 6.0lt Final Edition Convertible 1994. Ferrari or Porsche taken in P/X Having been part of a personal collection since being taken in P/x against an Aston Martin the current owner of this lovely Jaguar has asked us to offer it for sale on his behalf while also saying he would be happy to p/x it against either a Porsche or a Ferrari which must be over 35 years old and a manual car, cash in either direction. Needing no introduction this 1994 XJS Convertible is powered by what is probably one of the best engines to find its way under that long bonnet, the 6.0 Litre V12. On the road they do not come much smoother, silky power accompanied by a lovely exhaust note and a smooth changing automatic gearbox, a wonderful GT car made to just chew up the miles which is exactly what the owner before him used the car for, trips to his home in France, bringing the car back once a year to have it serviced and so maintaining its service history. Generally the body work is excellent with just the odd imperfection here and there, it is 26 years old and not a restored car after all. Inside is very well appointed and in again excellent […] £27,995

BMW M6 635CSi 1990 Possible Porsche/Ferrari taken in P/X Having spent the last decade in personal collections, now only on sale as its current owner has had a change in direction for his collection, this superb example of one of BMWs greats comes with the most comprehensive history files I have seen. It appears to have every service receipt, repair bill, old MOT certificates, old tax discs (copies) and even a blow by blow ledger of when, why and how much spent on it! Alongside this there is its original fully stamped up service booklet and original owners handbooks, all in the correct BMW wallet. You can spend thousands restoring a car but you just cannot buy this sort of history. If you are reading this I really do not think you need to be told about these wonderful cars! So unlike todays cars that you have to read a badge to know what it is, these “Shark nose” BMs are instantly recognisable with the M6 being the top of the pack. They have a presence on the road that set them apart. In lovely all round condition and driving accordingly, its current owner has asked me to mention that he would look to take a pre-87 Porsche or […] £47,995

Montesa Cota 350 Original and only 514kms Here’s another interesting classic that has been offered to us.This 1984 Montesa Cota 350, while not fitting in with the direction we are taking (posh way of saying i know nowt about off roaders 😁)the owner has asked us to list it for him on his behalf so note, it is in Spain and we will not be shipping it over until we recieve a sensible deposit. It does however have an interesting history. Apparently when Honda took over the factory from Montesa in the mid 80s, they stopped production of this 350 in favour of their own model. Having not long been in production, not many had been made, those that had been were sold off to the factory workers and infact were homologated as Cota 349s which were the earlier model with the earlier motor. The current owner bought the bike off its only owner from new, one of those factory workers that bought the bikes, hence why he knows so much about the bike and is 99.9% sure that the 514 kilometres showing on the clock is genuine. This bike has never been restored and is completely original. It has to be one of the best examples […] £3,995

Jaguar XJ6 series 3 4.2 Sovereign 1985 Just repatriated from the sunny climes of Alicante in Spain, this lovely Jaguar 4.2 XJ6 Series 3 Sovereign has spent most of the last two decades either locked away in its owners garage in the UK or since apx 2006, parked in his garage in Spain along with the rest of his collection, barely used in that time and now at 82 he has decided to sell of his cars. With only just under 85K on the clock, believed by the owner to be genuine but unfortunately no service history as its been lost, just some old MOTs and the general condition of the interior to back this up, mechanically the engine gear box etc are strong with excellent oil pressure showing for the motor and smooth gear changes from the auto box. There is the typical “top shock mount” rattle but new ones are on their way so this along with any other mechanical maladies will be attended to for its MOT, again the fact they look to of never been changed backs up the low miles, just the heat has got to them and the rubber perished. Unfortunately the same has to be said of the exterior paint. […] £5,995

Ford F100 “Twin Beam” V8 Auto Un-restored Truck 1965 Rare to find as solid and unrestored, this very solid 1965 Ford F100 forms part of an eclectic collection of cars we have been asked to market on behalf of their owner. Only now for sale due to a new business venture taking up their storage space and the owner does not want them left outside any longer than he has to. As you can see this great old truck wears its “patina” with pride, no expensive paint job covering up whatever could lurk underneath, just good old faded paint, warts an all. Having said that it is as solid as a rock and if it was your want, a great base to restore from. If not just leave well alone and enjoy its character. Powered by a 5.7l V8 attached to a three speed auto, both of which work correctly, with the engine firing up easily even after being sat right through this cold weather we have had. Interior is good and very useable as is, matching that nice old look of the outside. Tyres are basically new all round. Exhaust is well, loud but isn’t that how it should be and it is correctly registered as historic so […] £11,295

Dodge Fleetside V8 on Hydraulics 1969 “Project” Well its finally with us and going up for sale 😁 This 1969 5.2 liter V8 powered “Patina’d” Dodge Fleetside had close to $30k spent on it in the US, with bills to prove and has some lovely bits on it from its full hydraulic suspension to its 4 link 9″ back axle etc etc etc. But! I have to say that while these trucks regularly are on offer for anything up to £40k this one is £18995. The reason is that unlike the americans, we like to actually drive our show trucks and this one, in our opinion, needs more work to get there (unless of course your happy just to show not go). Now dont get me wrong the motor starts easily, sounds great and pulls well, its auto gearbox, if you can reach the top of the gear lever, functions correctly, all the electrics work but things like the brakes will need attention they are far too sharp! We think this is due to having a drum/drum master cylinder on the new servo where as it should have a disc/drum unit to suit the new disc brake set up, up front. In the quest to make the […] £18,995

Being a TF model it should not be confused with the earlier MG F and i quote. “Based upon the MG F platform, but heavily redesigned and reengineered, the most significant mechanical changes were the abandonment of hydragas suspension in favour of conventional coil springs, the new design of the air induction system that along with new camshafts produces more power than in MG F engines, and the torsional stiffness of the body increased by 20%. Various cosmetic changes include a revised grille, redesigned front headlights, bumpers, side air-intake grills, rear boot, etc” Looking very sharp in its gloss black paintwork and with only a couple of small marks, a great condition interior, lovely condition alloy wheels. Unfortunately the history for the car has been lost, but what we do have is a letter from its last owner, who also sold it to the owner before him then bought it back, listing all the work he had carried out on it during his ownership. Apart from there not being another 1966 204 registered for road use here in the UK (according to DVLA) what makes this car stand out from others is that only the very early saloons like this one, had a split rear bumper with the number plate set between the two-halves, a flat rear panel and small oval tail lights, so a rare find indeed. Originally sold new in Tenerife the same family owned it with the father passing it on to his son. The son moved in the 80s to Northern Spain where it stayed in use until 1990 when it was put in the garage you can see in the pictures, that is where it stayed until we bought it. Now a great restoration project, one that we have had running off a separate fuel system so know that the motor is good. Its body while not being totally corrosion free, is very solid with various bumps and dinks it has picked up over its years of use, all of which will repair easily with no new panels required.
