In stock with our Spanish friends is this lovely 1963 Impala Sedan, the second of a pair of Impala’s owned from new by the same family. This lovely condition 1963 version was again built new for the Spanish market where it then lived all its life, the dry climate having a lot to do with its survival. Just like the other this one again is in a superb, but unrestored condition throughout and comes with the very desirable 327 cube V8 with automatic transmission. Priced in GBP but located in Spain, shipping can be arranged or viewing by appointment welcome.
Offered for sale on behalf of a client, is this very nice and now sought after W123 Mercedes 200. Described as running and driving well with good engine and gearbox. Body work is bright and shiny with just the odd spots of corrosion here and there but nothing to detract from its overall appearance and far better than many of this era. Wheels and tyres are excellent. Interior wise much of the same, clean, tidy and presentable as are the boot area and engine bay. All in all a good solid, driving car that is ready to go with an MOT until July 2020. Use it as an everyday classic or with a small amount of effort, elevate it to a show car. Not currently with us here in stock so if interested we can arrange for you to view it with its owner.
In stock with our colleagues in Spain. This wonderful 1960 Chevrolet Impala 4 door “Sedan” has been in Spain from new and has been owned by the same family since! Described as being “sensational” and in “magnificent preserved condition”, with the interior being “original, unrestored and magnificent”. So high praise indeed! Price is in GBP located in Spain. Shipping can be organised and viewing in Spain welcome.
This lovely 1978 Mercedes 450SL has only had two keepers since 1984, the current keeper since 1995. With only 120471 recorded on the clock, there is a fully stamped Mercedes history up to 80869 in 1987 but then there are old mots and bills for work done that look to point to this being correct but cannot be warranted. Prior to being taken of the road for refurbishment in 2006 the car received a new fuel pump, brakes all round, wheel bearings and exhaust, plus MOT at 119483 miles and the cost of £1420.00. Re-emerging for its next MOT in 2016 with 119501 and its current one, through to April 2018 at 120141 recorded miles. So only a total of 978 recorded miles in the last 11 years. Body work is very good, with very good rear arches, nice bright paint work and exterior chrome. Interior looks to be original and in good order, just a wear patch on the driver’s seat base (now covered by a small piece of matching material to effect a temporary repair). The soft top is in excellent order with a good rear window and the original factory hard top is with the car and […]
As the great man Jeremy Clarkson said ” You gotta love a Jaaag!” and when one like this one turns up you have to agree. This superb “X308” is not only powered by the sought after 4 litre version of Jags then new V8 but is the rare and then very expensive to buy, long wheel base Sovereign. As such not only do you get all the usual refinements but also more elaborate/expensive wood veneer in “highly figured” burr walnut with the window control/ashtray trim panels also done in wood veneer, opposed to the plastic found in lesser models, even the traditional leather interior uses a higher quality leather. Then you have the extra 4 inches of rear leg room and the roof line is raised towards the back for extra head clearance. Exterior wise a Sovereign can be distinguished by the complete use of highly polished steel and chrome work around windows and rear light clusters, as well as polished radiator grill and boot garnish. This particular car was a Jaguar dealer’s car for its first 7 months then only 2 private keepers since and still with only 80K on the clock. Coming with an excellent fully stamped service […]
Full details and better pictures to follow once the weather improves. But suffice to say that this superb looking Harley Chop is now being offered for sale on behalf of its owner. As you can see in the background the owner likes his “toys” and purchased this bike to go with his various hot rods and classic cars. Being the owner of a very busy garage, he soon realised that he just does not get the time to ride it so has decided it’s best to move it on rather than leaving it stood unused. Overall build quality is very high and that big old Harley V-Twin has just been rebuilt by a local company, so no worries there and it sounds superb, definitely not a bike for the wall flowers out there! Not with us here so please call to arrange a viewing if seriously interested, as I say he is a busy man, Thanks.
This rare to find “Turbo charged” version of Chryslers popular LeBaron was imported into the UK back in 1981 and has survived very well since then picking up little to no rust or damage to its body work. I do have to say though, that while the blue panels may look ok in the pictures, they are not very well done nor is the dummy intake that has been stuck on the bonnet! Interior is full leather and in very good order throughout, needing little more than a clean and makes for a very comfortable place to be. The LCD dash these cars were fitted with, had their problems but again on this particular cars are mostly working. I say mostly as the “system check panel” tends to send out the odd rogue message and the multi-function clock/trip compute, while all lighting up, does not seem to respond to any of the buttons. But the main and important bit, the dash itself, all functions correctly. Past that the original stereo does not work but an aftermarket one has been fitted and the central locking works intermittently. Coming to us with a very recent MOT carried out by its previous owner, […]
Just arrived so awaiting preperation and not to be confused with its lesser sibling the 4.0 petrol or 2.7 Weesel, is this nice, fully loaded, 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee “Overland” with its full house 4.7 V8 petrol that gives out a quoted 263 horses but more importantly 325 lb/ft of torque versus the 195/230 quoted for the 4.0l version. This is a proper off roader while still giving 20+MPG when on the road. As usual it comes with all the toys, electric everything, seats, doors, windows, mirrors, dual zone climate control etc etc with both front seats being heated as well. All wrapped up in a full leather interior. Outside on the corners it has picked up the odd bruise otherwise very nice and it will have a full valet, a fresh MOT and for piece of mind a 6 month warranty at the asking price of £2695
Well here is something for you, people. The perfect big boys/girls toy and definately ” Something for the weekend” 😉 This 2.5 turbo diesel Landrover Discovery has had a ton of money thrown at it from its lifted uprated suspension and new mud plugger tires to its bob tailed rear end via a full perimeter roll cage, even the fuel tank and battery are repositioned inside so out of the way! It runs and drives well but there is no MOT as apparently the front tires are too exposed so would require at least a set of extenders to comply. This is one tuff looking Disco and you could not build it for the discount price its being offered for and no we are not going to clean it, whats the point your only going to stick it in the mud 😁😁
Having been driven by its Italian owner from the Pordenone region in Italy to the UK last year, this very rare Left Hand Drive 1.3 Automatic 2 door estate MK2 escort is now being offered for sale on his behalf. Now I can hear you saying “1.3 Auto, hah!!” but strangely enough it actually gets on down the road quite well, not that its not crying out for a nice 1600GT or Pinto conversion to liven it up, preferably with a manual gearbox to suit, but not everyone wants or can have a manual and where would you find another automatic? Body wise, being in a dry climate all of its life has staved off the dreaded tin worm and now past the bits on the arches coming through (Please follow the link to our website for further close up pictures of these areas), after a year standing basically un-used in the UK and some age related dents etc, it is incredibly solid for a mid-seventies Ford, above and below. Rear bumper has suffered a soft “push” in the middle as has the front (have you seen the parking in Italy!) Its 1300 Kent engine is very sweet with absolutely […]
NOW WITH A NEW MOT UPDATE: Just to let you know, unfortunately the buyer with the deposit placed on the car has had to pull out of the purchase due to family commitments, let’s face it folks, it happens. So the car is now back up for sale. However the good news is that while this was happening the previous buyer wanted to see “how bad” it was underneath in case it needed major surgery? Well its blooming lovely! Needs no welding at all for the MOT. It drove very well to the test station until I had to brake hard for an errant school kid, unfortunately after that the l/h rear calliper was dragging and this was basically the only real failure on the MOT. It also requires 3 ball joint rubber gaiters , a dip beam bulb on one side, a set of wiper blades and that’s it once you sort out the calliper on the back, even the hand brake works, rare indeed on an auto! There were some advisories as well. Two of the tires are showing some perishing on sections of the side walls, probably from being left deflated in the container. Two break […]
This very impressive 30 foot long “luxury house on wheels” was purchased by its current owner for the express purpose of using it to complete a Dolly Parton Tribute tour with his wife. Having previously suffered some dubious hotels while on previous tours, the decision was taken to find a nice RV to use instead. After much searching and not happy with what was on offer, all high miles mainly ex rental units, he found this one a one owner unit owned by a gent that unfortunately had become wheel chair bound so could no longer use it, hence its very low mileage. Upon finishing the last tour, the decision was to bring it back to the UK for an upcoming European tour , soon after arriving in the UK he separated from the wife so again the RV was left unused and now offered for sale. Obviously with this low miles the Chevrolet V8 petrol motor with auto transmission is barely run in and drives very well. Interior is very good with things like the micro wave and cooker looking almost unused and the rear bedroom has a 5 foot by 6 and a half foot king size bed. […]
This lovely Left Hand Drive Austin Healey 3000 Mk1 “four seater” was manufactured, according to its Heritage certificate, between the 28th and 31st of March 1960 then despatched to Los Angeles USA on the 7th of April the same year. Here it stayed until circa 1990 when it was exported to Norway. Once in Norway it was restored and entered in year 2000 to the “Rallye Monte- Carlo Historique”. Then staying in Norway, apparently in the owner’s front room of his house, until purchased and shipped to the UK in 2014 and purchased by the current owner in 2017. The Austin-Healey 3000 was announced on 1 July 1959 with production commencing soon after, making this car a very early example. Its 3 litre engine replacing the smaller engine 2.6 of the 100- 6 and gaining front disc brakes for the first time. Options were limited, comprising of “Wire wheels, overdrive gearbox, laminated windscreen, interior heater, adjustable steering column, detachable hard top for the 2+2, and two-tone paint” but this one had the lot, with the rare hard top still being present with the car as is the soft top and “tonneau” cover. As previously mentioned, restoration took place the best […]
This 1994 Volvo 850T5 estate was found languishing at the back of a covered area behind a couple of other cars that a contact of mine had been invited to go and see with the view to purchase, having been parked there when it broke down years before. One of those “put it there and I will fix it sometime” kind of things. Never to be done just pushed further back behind the others that seemed to of met the same fate. Bear in mind the last time it was MOTd was in 2006 with 131K miles on the clock, now still with only 133K 13 years later, back then these great estates were not that desirable and so people just scraped them when they became bothersome and just not worth repairing. If only we knew eh! And thank heavens some people just parked them up as prices today are massively up and survivors like this that are new to the market are highly sought after. Now with a replacement fuel pump, new spark plugs, four tyres replaced and a quick wipe over ( will be valeted prior to sale) L67JBW is up and on his/hers toes again having survived […]
