Lancia Flaminia Pinafarina 2.5 Coupe 1960 RIGHT HAND DRIVE Just arrived here in the UK with a friend of ours is this stunning and very very rare Italian but Right Hand Drive 1960 Lancia Flaminia Coupe Pininfarina. Lovely history and provenance as follows: Car was purchased from its current owner in Milan. Being one of only 143 produced in original Right Hand Drive form, so exceptionally rare. It was originally ordered through the Lancia dealers SAICAR of Milan for its first owner, Snr Paolo Sanguineti of Torino who owned a major publishing house in Milan. In the early 2000s when Snr Sanguineti died, ownership passed to his wife & son. It was after this time that it went to Carlo Cappa of Milan a renowned Lancia specialist to be mechanically refreshed (as proven by the plaque fitted to the front grill) then onto its next owner. Still in its original exterior “Grigio Albany” colour, although that has been refreshed many years ago as proven by the pictures used when it was listed on the Registro Storico Lancia & at the ACI in  1990,showing the car is still in the same condition today! Inside is superb with its stunning conditioned, original “Pelle Marrone” leather interior that has aged beautifully. Roof […] £37,995

Jaguar XJS 5.3 V12 Convertible 1990 Now with us is this very pretty and rare to find in black, 1990 5.3 V12 XJS Convertible. This car has benefited from a bare metal respray on the outside and new carpets, restored wood and reconolised leather on the inside. It’s been a Labour of love by it’s owner and now right when it just needs the final minor things to finish, he has to sell it due to personal circumstances. It drives very well (gearbox recently serviced) with no nasty bangs or rattles. Engine is smooth, sounds great out of the exhausts, shows great oil pressure and no signs of any problems. Brakes etc all function as designed but the abs light has come on since a new battery was fitted. The electric windows, locks and convertible roof all operate correctly. Coming with the car is a file of paperwork that has reciepts etc showing the work carried out over the years and there is a current mot through to October. Minor bits I know that need to be sorted, there may be others, are things like the light switches for the interior lights don’t appear to work and their small wood surround was lost when all the […] £16,995

Daihatsu “Willys” Jeep 1996 Well where do we start with this one? Back after the war when the Americans pulled out of the Philippines they left a raft of military equipment and vehicles behind them. Amongst it was a number of Willys jeeps, these soon became a status symbol amongst the locals but the climate, being what it is on an island in the middle of a sea, soon took its toll on the unprotected metal parts and they rusted away. The Philipino people who are very good at this sort of thing, started to produce various replacement panels to repair the original with culminating in full bodies being produced in steel. These also rust so the next step was to produce the bodies in 100% stainless steel which is what we have here. You have to say the skill involved in hand beating and bending panels to make these is truly amazing! This particular shell was purchased and then mounted onto a Daihatsu Sport Track 4×4 chassis and retains the full 4 wheel drive system, its 1600cc 16 valve engine and 5 speed box, this gives a crazy mix of Japanese engineering below a body that could of come out of the 1940s […] £7,995

Fiat (Seat)131 Supermirafiori 1600TC Rust free and original. 1979 lI have to say before I start that “I do like a Twin-cam” and Mr Lampredi knew what he was doing when he designed this one for Fiat! The 1600cc version under the bonnet of this nice Seat (Fiat) 131 Supermirafiori that we imported from Spain, is an excellent example of this. Helped no doubt by being owned for many years by a mechanic that specialised in early Fiats, it’s now 40 years old and still just as willing to be rev’d and enjoyed, especially when mated to an also excellent 5 speed gearbox. Interior is very good, just the piping round the edge of the drivers seat is showing its age in a couple of places. Otherwise really quite plush for its age. Exterior wise it has just had a full respray in its original colour as like any non restored 40 year old car that had spent its life in a hot country, its paint had faded into various hues of white and it had picked up various “bruises” over the years   but most importantly “No rust”. This is why we go to the trouble of finding these rare and now sought after cars in countries with better […] £5,995
