This superb example of a 1996 BMW 528i was described as “painfully original” by its owner. From what appears to be its all original paint, right down to the original BMW mobile phone still in its mount!
Its bodywork is excellent all bar some minor and unavoidable stone chips to the bonnet, one larger than the rest and one small but hardly noticable soft “line” dent low on one of the back doors. Interior is lovely and being the upmarket SE model is fully loaded with options, all of which still work even the rare optional sunroof.
Now while the astetics of the car are wonderful, its history is even more impressive. Every thing is there including the original order showing what options were to be fitted and a final price of £35,365. A full service booklet (BMW up to 49K then two independants) with each service backed up by an invoice. In amongst these invoices is one for a new short engine fitted by BMW themselves under warranty at 33K in 2000. The book became full at 80K/2016 but any further invoices are in its file.
With only had 3 registered keepers, the original gent. Then when he pased, his wife at the same address and only for a couple of months, then its last owner who had it for the last 17 years. It even still has three keys and of course a full set of original handbooks in their original leather wallet. You really would struggle to find a car with better history with such low mileage in this condition.
It has just had a new MOT, plus a service and inspection so is more than ready for its new owner to enjoy.
