With less than 90K showing on the clock this BMW 535I has spent most of the last decade sat unused in a garage that, its originality, plus the low miles has contributed to marking it as a true “survivor”.
By looking at its history we can see it was first PDI’d for sale December 1996 then collected January 1997 making this a very early V8 powered car. Running through the history it had other 3 keepers before settling with one family from 2008 till now. All the history which is made up with a printed out BMW service sheet then other invoices, HPI reports and just about all its MOTs, seems to point to the mileage being correct ,the lack of wear to the leather seat bolsters is another, but as always we can never guarantee mileages.
Bodywork is very good with only the odd soft dent and as you can see in the pictures, presents well (Note: Pictures taken on day of arrival so pre valet, it will only look nicer). Interior is excellent with the up market OBC optioned dash and stereo system, lovely soft virtually unmarked leather seating, wood inlays, rear sun blind/privacy screen, air con so without the troublesome sun roof, electric mirrors, windows, door locks and probably a host of other options I have missed.
On the road that big old V8 up front pulls cleanly and with no effort, hits the legal speed limit on a motorway ;-). Gearbox is smooth and there are no untoward clunks or noises from the steering or suspension.
Having not been MOTd since 2010 it will obviously be receiving a fresh one prior to sale for the new owner.
