This nice 2004 BMW Z4 is the desirable 2.5 I SE model, so has BM’s silky smooth 6 cylinder engine which in turn is mated to their equally smooth automatic transmission, together giving this great looking 2 seater an almost “GT” feel on the road. Fast and sure footed, capable of eating the miles with ease, all the while being cosseted by its lovely black leather interior and all the nice SE spec options it is fitted with.
Coming with a fully stamped history up to 60500 in 2014, then various bills and old MOTs to back up the low recorded mileage of only 82931 now showing. Its current MOT is through to the 18th of July 2018 and from that you will see the car has only covered 37 miles in the last 8 months. This is due to its lady owner not using it as she had returned home abroad and has decided not to come back, hence the reason why it is now for sale with us.
Now the negatives, while standing about it has picked up some minor car park dings and the odd scratch here and there, the worse being two soft dents on the boot lid that “appeared” and a slight snag on the right hand front wing otherwise , as you can see in the pictures, its metallic black paint shines up nicely. The uprated from new or optional alloys do have some minor kerbing but the tires are as new. The roof itself was replaced under insurance only recently so is still perfect.
But, and this is the reason behind why it is so cheap. It has just come to our attention that it had an insurance claim (Cat D) for cosmetic damage when the car was less than a month old! I guess it’s was a new for old type thing where if your car was under than a certain age from new, they just replaced it rather than repair. Either way it’s on the register and even though the owner did not know, she has had it for 6 years and was not told, we do know, so are declaring it for her.
Lets face it though, it’s now a whole lot of car for not a lot of money!
