Just arrived with us is this very pretty year 2000 (just, first registered 04.01.2000) Porsche Boxster 2.7. Having sat almost unused in a private collection, alongside cars such as a 356 Porsche and R107 Mercedes. It was originally purchased to use as an alternative when the weather was poor. This never really happened and it has covered less than 600 miles in the last four years!
Last MOTd in 2016 (108043 miles) it will be receiving a new MOT and a full Valet prior to sale. The original plastic window has minor splits so this will also be rectified in the asking price.
The grey leather interior is in very good condition through out and has the expensive upgraded and electrically adjusted sports seats option. The original Porsche stereo head unit is still fitted and working.
Mechanically it drives well, with no untoward noises. Suspension feels taught as does the steering. While electrically everything works, this includes the roof that operates smoothly with no glitches.
Body work is excellent and will polish nicely, wheels and tyres are all good with plenty of life left in the tyres. With the car is an almost complete service history. 10 Porsche Main Dealer stamps up to 71K in 2009, then 2 independents taking it to 86K in 2011. The current owner self-services all his cars so although he says it was done, there is no physical proof of this.
With the market now finally switching on to the “Boxster” as a Porsche model in its own right and not a 911 competitor, prices are strengthening year on year. To find one as clean as this with sensible miles, a good history and in a rare colour makes it not only a great car to own but one that can be used everyday car and then to show at the weekends, while also being a damn good investment.
PLEASE NOTE. The personal plate J22BXR is not included in the sale price but the owner would sell separately for £1200. It has been left on in the pictures so if you wanted to, you can look at its MOT history on line. Better pictures to follow Thanks.
