This very nice Stag has been in Ireland where it was mainly dry stored for the last few years. It has been subject to an older restoration and still looks good today.
Fitted with the correct and desirable Triumph V8 engine. This starts easily, shows good oil pressure and has a recently fitted new alternator and battery. The automatic gearbox selects nicely but the starter only engages in neutral not in park.
Underneath looks to be very good with excellent floor pans and what look to be recently fitted Spax adjustable shocks and a stainless exhaust system.
The soft top roof has been replaced and there is a good condition factory hard top with the car. The soft top frame does however have a broken weld at the front r/h corner, that will need attention to be fully functional.
Mileage is showing a very low 63,500 but unfortunately the transport company lost all its papers and history (replacement V5 has been applied for). However the MOT register does appear to back this up as far back as 2006 @ 58,500 but you make your own mind up. A new mot will be placed on the car prior to sale at the asking price.
